An e-bike is a vehicle, not a bicycle. Good care provides a 5–10 year lifespan.
What and when
- Tire pressure: monthly. - Brakes: visual check monthly, service annually. - Chain / belt: clean every 1,000–2,000 km. - Battery: have it checked by a professional annually. - Major service: once per year.
Proper battery care
1. Storage at 30–60 % charge. 2. Do not store outside in winter. 3. Do not constantly charge to 100 %.
